It's the day after Halloween and you see the bowls, you know the bowls that are over flowing with candy and chocolate. You let your kids gorge on as much as they can (at least we do so it won't last as long), but eventually they hit that wall, you hit that wall, then you think "how on earth are we going to get through all of this".
There are a few neat things in the city of Calgary that some companies will do. I know that Evans Dental will actually buy your candy back from you, they weigh it and give you $1 a pound, and per pound you bring they in turn donate 1 pound of apples to the Calgary Food bank. How awesome is that! It promotes a healthy lifestyle and it gives back to the community.
If you don't have anything like that in your community then here are some awesome recipes that will come in handy. You can actually do many things with leftover Halloween candy.
