The other day in the words of Winnie the Pooh was a blustery day. Our house was shaking as the snow was coming down and whipping around outside. It looked cold and I knew it was cold. We live out on a Ranch so venturing out in that kind of weather is not an option, well it is but I really don't want too. On days like that or even weeks we can all get a bit stir crazy. So why not do a craft! You will probably have most materials laying around the house.
It's super simple:
First go on google and find a cute picture of a polar bear, then with card stock or regular paper (I prefer the card stock because it can hold up to glue) print the picture off in black and white.
Then collect these materials:
Arts and crafts glue, or tacky glue
Lay out the newspaper and roll your little kiddlets sleeves up so they don't get glue on their clothing, I also put bibs on them. If you have smocks that would work better but sadly I do not have smocks, note to self buy smocks.
Have all other material ready to go, if your child needs help with squeezing out the glue then squeeze the glue in various places on the polar bear. Glue on the eyes, fluff up the cotton balls and let them have some fun! After the Polar bear has his fur back on then add some touches with spots of glitter, Olivia used green and blue to make it look like shiny ice and trees. You could always have silver for the snow as well.
Wala! Easy peasy and all from my house. It entertained them for about 40 minutes.
A little about me
