I love a good, quick and easy supper. You know the kind where you can walk away while it cooks and makes the house smell amazing and it turns out perfect every time, yup this is one of those. I will never buy a rotisserie chicken from the store again, especially when I can do it at home and it tastes amazing. This chicken is super moist and flavorful, you can also use it in so many ways as well.
Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken that is about 5 pounds 1 Tablespoon of Smoked Paprika 3 Tablespoons of Montreal Steak Spice Salt and Pepper Directions: Wash the chicken and pat it dry. Grab your crock pot and plug it in and set it to low. Tear off 4 pieces of tin foil and crumple them up into balls, and place in the bottom of the crock pot. Place the chicken on top of the tin foil and make sure the chicken is not touching the bottom, also the chicken should be breast side up. Mix up the spices and rub them all over the chicken so that it is nicely coated.
Once the chicken is coated place the lid onto the crock pot and walk away. After 4-6 hours it should be cooked, cut the skin on the legs to make sure the juices run clear.
Set the oven to broil, carefully place the chicken onto a baking dish (it will be super tender and possibly try to fall apart but don't let it!). Place the chicken in the oven and then cook for about 10 minutes or until the skin darkens a bit and crisps up. Once done cut up into pieces and enjoy! You can make chicken salad with it, shred it for tacos, or just eat it with some perfect side! I like mashed potatoes, glazed carrots and salad! Trust me though it is super tasty and won't last long!
